OK - lets have some fun!
1. Open a new canvas 350 x 350 transparent. Open your tube onto your desktop, then copy and paste it as a new layer onto your canvas. Close your original.
2. Using your selection tool, make a square selection from your tube - we are going to use this to make our text later - copy selection and paste as a new image, apply seamless tiling with the default settings (if you have any blank parts in your selection add a layer under your selection, flood fill black and merge visible before tiling). Minimize your tile to use later. Also open my gold tile and minimize it
3. Back to our tag - deselect the rectangle we selected before. On your layer palette you now have 2 layers, make your background layer active, flood fill black and name the layer black.
4. Go back to your tube layer and duplicate the tube layer 2 times - rename each layer as I have below. Depending on your PSP experience you may find it easier to turn the visibility off on the layers we aren't using
5. Make your solidify layer active, and apply Flaming Pears Solidify
6. Make your blur layer active and apply gaussian blur with a radius of 10
7. Move your black layer underneath your original layer as below and make the black layer active
8. Go to layers>load/save mask and apply mask 175 with the following settings
9. Delete your mask layer (answer yes when asked if you want it merged), then go to your top group layer and merge group
10. Go to your original layer and apply the following drop shadow - repeat with minus values
11. Make sure all your layers are visible and merge all - your tag is finished, now we'll add some text :)
12. Make sure your text palette has the same settings as below, using whatever font you choose. Find my gold and use it as your foreground pattern and find the tile we made earlier and use it as your background pattern
13. Apply your text - rotate etc till it is where you want it, then go to selections>from vector object, then on your layer palette right click on your text layer and choose convert to raster layer
14. While still selected apply SBP with the clear glass setting I provided - don't deselect - re-apply the clear glass 3 or 4 times (I did 3), then add a drop shadow with the following settings - or my hilight preset
That's it - we're all done!
I hope you enjoyed my newest tutorial :)
