With so many people now writing and requesting permission to use my tutorials I thought it was about time I put my terms of use up on the site.

I don't want some rambling tome about what you can and can't do, just a few simple things I ask of you :)

Well that was what I wanted ... unfortunately there are some who take advantage of others who so freely give, so my terms will have to be a whole lot stricter than they have been previously - I just won't allow anyone to do anything!  So sorry to those of you who have been happy to do as a tut writer asks - there are always a few that spoil it for the rest.

DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO MY SITE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Use a TEXT LINK ONLY!  Hotlinking is bandwidth theft, and anyone caught hotlinking to my site will be reported to their web host AND to the appropriate authorities!

Groups

My tutorials are not to be used in group settings without my written permission, and if permission is given a text link is all I will permit.

My tutorials are NOT to be emailed through groups under ANY circumstances.

Due to recent bandwidth theft on my site I have had to place a limit on my site, and once my bandwidth limit for the month is used, the site will be disabled until the 1st of the following month.  Group leaders should be aware that toward the end of the month my site may be unavailable.

Translations

I am no longer permitting my tutorials to be translated or rewritten in ANY WAY by anyone who is not an approved member of UTA_Approved, more information is available at the website

Scripting my tutorials

You cannot learn from running a script, and a script takes away those individual touches each of us puts into the things we make, therefore I do ask that my tutorials not be scripted and shared. However, if you've done one of my tutorials and decide to script it for your own personal use in the future, then please do so - just don't forget who wrote the tutorial :)

If you share my tuts, translate them or rewrite them for use in other programmes, you already know how important feedback is, so please encourage your audience to sign my guestbook and let me know what they think of my tutorials :)
