and this zip

(unzip image to where you usually store images, tube to your tube folder, and Finished Wood.bmp into your patterns and textures folder)

Lets get started!

1. Open your image, press shift D to duplicate, then close your original image.

2. Go to selections>promote to layer - name this layer Background.

3. Go to effects>plugins>FM Tile Tools and apply Blend Emboss using the following settings

4. Go to effects>noise>texture preserving smooth and apply these settings

5. Add a symmetrical border of 35, click with magic wand to activate, then flood fill with your Finished Wood texture - scale 100, angle 326. Don't deselect till I tell you to :)

6. Add an inner bevel (effects>3D effects>inner bevel), and apply the following settings.

7. Go to selections>invert, then add a cutout using these settings, then repeat with minus values.

8. Invert selection again, and promote to layer (selections>promote to layer) call this layer outer frame. Make sure you are now working on the promoted layer.

9. Invert again, then flood fill with Wood Finish texture - invert, flood fill centre with Wood Finish texture, then invert one more time (your outer frame should now be active)

10. Go to Effects>Textures>Fur and apply with these settings

11. Invert one more time, go to edit>cut, you've now cut the centre out of your frame. Deselect
