"Sewn" Butterfly

This was so quick and easy to do that I didn't think it warranted a tutorial ... but I was asked to do one, so here it is :))

This is what we should end up with

You will need:

BladePro

BladePro presets - here is the one I made for this pic

Image - to use the one I did click here

OK here we go:

1. Open your image, promote it to a layer, add another raster layer, and move your new raster layer under your image.

2. Using your magic wand select a section of white on your image, go to selections > modify > select similar. You now have marching ants all over your white section - keep selected and cut. DO NOT DESELECT.

3. Now you have a black outline, go to selections > invert.

4. With your image is STILL selected, go to selections > modify > expand and select 1, and apply.

5. Keep selected and flood your active image with white.

6. You can save this selected area to selections to use later if you like.

7. Apply the BladePro preset of your choice.

Voila!! All done :)

Add a background (black seems to work best) and a frame if you like and you're all done.

I hope you enjoyed doing this tutorial as much as I enjoyed writing it
