1. Open a new image 300 x 300 - transparent. Go to text and add Celtic frames capital M * size 100 - standard white text. Add drop shadow -3 horizontal and vertical, *opacity 100, *blur 3.9.
2. While still selected and active, add Ulead art texture - I used #5 and then #1 as the pattern. This is now a floating selection, so you need to promote to layer and then duplicate the layer. Make sure your duplicated layer is active and then flip your image, then move so that the 2 images meet. Merge visible and save as frame.
3. Using magic wand, click on centre of the frame and flood fill it with white, while still selected add Ulead art texture, same settings as before (you'll probably find that there is a small area on the right that doesn't get filled - just select with magic wand, flood fill and add art texture). Deselect.
4. Add a new layer (name it background) - and move it to the background position. Add another layer calling it bfly, and make sure this is your active layer. Add your butterflyclearblack tube - scale 60 - step 300. Position the butterfly so that it is centred in your frame and copy this layer. Now minimise your frame image and paste your tube image as a new image - we will call this new image you've just created butterfly, so save it as that.
5. Working on your butterfly image, add a layer - call it background, and send it to the back. Turn off the visibility on your butterfly image and you should now have a blank frame. Flood fill the background layer with black and make your butterfly layer visible again. (Because its black on black you won't be able to *see* it). Use your magic wand and select the area where the butterfly should be - you should see the outline of the butterfly surrounded by marching ants. Duplicate this layer.
6. Using your bfly layer use magic wand to select butterfly and flood fill with colour of your choice - I used #542A54. Go to copied layer, make it active and add Ulead art texture, same settings as before. Add another tube and move it so that it covers your coloured butterfly - this gives texture.
7. Turn the visibility off on your background layer and merge visible. Add a drop shadow to this layer - I used colour #C0C0C0 Horizontal and vertical 3 - opacity 100 and blur 3.9.
8. With the background still turned OFF copy merged image and minimise this pic again - maximise your frame image and paste copied image as new layer - move to cover original bfly tube and minimise your frame image again :-)
9. Open butterfly - make all layers visible and merge all. Using FM Tile Tools make the image seamless tiled both horizontally and vertically. minimise and go back to frame image - crop this image to get rid of the blank background, then resize the image by 50%. Go to background layer and flood fill using the pattern image you've made with your butterfly - 45% scale. Merge all.
10. Add borders - non symmetrical 5 - top, bottom, and left, and 1100 right. Select your border and add a layer, then flood fill with the same pattern you used on your frame layer.
You can lighten the opacity of this layer, but I didn't, I liked the rich look of the original :-))
