This tut was inspired by a tutorial written by Keith

Thanks Keith :)

This is what we will be making

This tut was written using PSP8, but should easily be done in earlier versions.

You will need Super BladePro

The eBook of this tutorial and all the supplies you'll need are here

Lets get started

1. Unzip your supplies, and put your SBP preset into your environments and texture folder. Open your Gold Weave pattern in PSP8 and minimize on your desktop.

2. Open the image of your choice and add symmetrical white borders of 10.

3. Click with magic wand and apply Super BladePro (gold_shiny), sharpen, invert and add the following cutout, deselect.

4. Add symmetrical borders of 30 in a colour that compliments your image. I used #50557E.

5. Click with magic wand, and add a new layer. Flood fill with the Gold Weave pattern you've minimized. Do NOT deselect. Merge all layers.

6. Add another cutout, this time using these settings. Deselect

7. Add another white symmetrical border of 10, click with magic wand and add the same SBP preset we used before, sharpen, deselect.

8. Add a new raster layer. With your background colour set to white, select your text tool and click somewhere within your image. Your text palette should like mine, with the same settings (depending on your image you may want to change the size of your corner)

9. Apply the same SBP preset we did before - do NOT deselect - add a drop shadow using these settings

10. Repeat drop shadow. Deselect.

11. Duplicate your corner layer, then mirror and flip till you have all four corners done.

12. Merge all and you're done!

I hope you enjoyed doing this tutorial as much as I enjoyed writing it
