1. Open the image you are going to frame, press shift D twice to duplicate, close your original and minimise one of the copies. Resize to about 50% and apply seamless tiling with the following settings
2. Add a symmetrical border of 3 - any colour that is not in your graphic
3. Click with magic wand using these settings
4. Flood fill with your gold tile, add an inner bevel using the following settings, do not deselect
5. Invert your selection and add the following cutout. Deselect
6. Add a black symmetrical border of 3, then another symmetrical border (another colour) of 3. Click this last border with your magic wand, fill with gold and apply the same inner bevel. Deselect
7. Add a symmetrical border of 35 (any colour), click with magic wand and flood fill with gold. Do not deselect. Add a raster layer
8. Go to selections>select all>float. Selections>modify and contract by 5. Flood fill this layer with the seamless tile we made earlier. Do not deselect
9. Go to effects>geometric effects>wave and apply the following settings. Do not deselect
10. Invert your selection and hit delete, then add an inner bevel with the following settings. Deselect
11. Add a drop shadow with the following settings
12. Click on your layer palette and hilight your background layer. Go to selections>select all, then selections>modify and contract by 35. Reapply your drop shadow, this time add another with minus values. Deselect
13. Repeat steps 2 - 6 (that was add border of 3, fill gold, inner bevel, invert, add cutout, add black border of 3, add different coloured border of 3, fill gold, inner bevel)
