This is what we will be making

This tutorial uses PSP8 only - no outside filters were used :)

OK - lets get started!

1. Open your image, and shift D to duplicate - duplicate again. Close your original. Resize one of your duplicates by around 50%, then go to selections, seamless tiling and apply the default settings. Minimize your tile.

2. Choose a medium colour from your graphic - I used #3F61C6 - make this your foreground colour

3. Add a symmetrical border of 4 - in a colour NOT in your graphic. Click your border with your magic wand and flood fill with your foreground colour. Do not deselect

4. Invert your selection and add my main pic cutout preset or use the settings below. Deselect

5. Add another symmetrical border of 4, click with your magic wand and flood fill with the tile we made. Deselect

6. One more symmetrical border of 4, click with your magic wand and flood fill with your foreground colour. Deselect

7. Go to selections>select all, selections>modify>contract and type in 12, invert your selection. Do not deselect

8. Go to effects>texture effects>weave and apply the following settings. Do not deselect

9. Now add my subtle inner bevel preset or use the following settings. Deselect

10. Add a symmetrical border of 24, click with your magic wand and flood fill with your tile. Do not deselect

11. Go to effects>artistic effects>brush strokes and apply the following settings. Do not deselect

12. Invert your selection and add the following drop shadow settings

13. Add a symmetrical border of 4. Click your border with your magic wand and flood fill with your foreground colour. Do not deselect

14. Invert your selection and add my subtle cutout preset or use the settings below. Deselect

15. Add another symmetrical border of 4, click with your magic wand and flood fill with the tile we made. Deselect

16. One more symmetrical border of 4, click with your magic wand and flood fill with your foreground colour. Deselect

17. Go to selections>select all, selections>modify>contract and type in 12, invert your selection. Do not deselect

18. Go to effects>texture effects>weave and apply the same settings we used before. Do not deselect

9. Now add my subtle inner bevel preset or use the settings we used before. Deselect and we're all done!
