This is what we will be making

You will need the following supplies to finish this tutorial

FM Paint Engine - get it here

The eBook tutorial and all other supplies are here

OK - let's get started!

1. Open the image you're going to frame (the more squarish the image the better the result), press shift D twice so you have 2 copies, close your original then minimize one copy

2. Working on your other copy, resize to about 200 x 200 pixels, sharpen then apply seamless tiling with the default settings. Minimize and open your other copy

3. Choose a complimentary colour from your graphic and make this your foreground colour - I used #004C7D. Open my gold tile2 and minimize, make this your background pattern.

4. Add a raster layer, then flood fill with my gold. Apply my pinched mask using the following settings

5. Go to selections>from mask, then delete your mask layer - answer yes, then go to your layer palette, highlight your top layer, then merge group. Do not deselect

6. Apply the following inner bevel. Do not deselect

7. Apply the following drop shadow or use my FuzzySubtle preset - repeat with minus values and deselect

8. Add a symmetrical border of 25 (any colour), then click with your magic wand and flood fill with your background tile (the one we minimized earlier). Apply FM Paint Engine using my IceCrystal setting. Do not deselect

9. Go to Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance then apply the same drop shadow we used earlier - repeat with minus values. Deselect

10. Add a symmetrical border of 25 (any colour), click with your magic wand and flood fill with my gold tile2. Deselect

11. Repeat steps 4 - 7 [Add a raster layer, then flood fill with your foreground colour. Apply my pinched mask using the settings we used before. Go to selections>from mask, then delete your mask layer - answer yes, then go to your layer palette, highlight your top layer, then merge group. Do not deselect. 7. Apply the same drop shadow we used before - repeat with minus values and deselect]

12. Add a symmetrical border of 5, click with your magic wand and flood fill with gold tile2. Deselect

13. Add a symmetrical border of 5, click with your magic wand and flood fill with your foreground colour, repeat the inner bevel we have been using, deselect and we're all done!
