This is what we will be making
To complete this tutorial you'll need the following supplies
WE SubduedGold Super BladePro preset - here
The mask I used is - here
RCS FilterPak - here
Screenworks - here
The graphic and eBook of this tutorial are here
** I used PSP9 beta 3 for this tutorial, but I'm sure this can be done with any version **
OK - lets get started
1. Open your image, press shift D twice to make 2 copies, then close your original. Minimize one of your copies, then resize the other copy to around 200 pixels, then use seamless tiling to tile. Minimize your tile and bring up your other copy
2. Select a darkish colour from your graphic, I used #492208, set it as your background colour, then add a symmetrical border of 40, click the border with your magic wand, and flood fill with your background colour. Deselect
3. Add a raster layer and flood fill white, apply mask 222 with the settings below
4. Go to selections>from mask, then on your layer palette, merge group. Don't deselect
5. Apply WE SubduedGold SBP preset, then apply the following drop shadow, repeat with minus values. Deselect
6. Add a symmetrical white border of 10, click with your magic wand and apply the SBP preset we used before. Invert your selection and apply the following cutout. Deselect
7. Add a symmetrical border of 25, click with your magic wand, then flood fill with the tile we made earlier. Add a gaussian blur with a radius of 5. Do not deselect
8. Apply Screenworks - Pin Hole. Do not deselect
9. Apply RCS FilterPak - Triple Exposure with the settings below. Do not deselect
10. Apply the cutout we used before, repeat with minus values and deselect
11. Add a symmetrical white border of 10. Click with your magic wand, then apply the SBP preset we have been using and we are all done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial ;)
