This is what we will be making
To complete this tutorial you'll need the following supplies
ClearGlass Super BladePro preset - here
Kiwi`s Oelfilter - here
Simple Filters - here
The font, graphic and eBook of this tutorial are here
** I used PSP9 beta 3 for this tutorial, but I'm sure this can be done with any version **
OK - lets get started
1. Open your graphic, press shift D to duplicate then close your original.
2. We need to make a background from your graphic, I selected part of the background of the image I used, copied, then pasted as a new image, then used seamless tiling on it, but you can use a copy of your full graphic, tile it then minimize on your desktop
3. Add a symmetrical border of 12 any colour, click your border with your magic wand, flood fill with the tile we made, then apply SBP with the clear glass setting. Do not deselect
4. Invert your selection and apply the following cutout - I applied it twice, but some graphics won't take it. Deselect
5. Add a symmetrical border of 30, any colour, click the border with your magic wand and flood fill with your background tile. Do not deselect
6. Apply Simple Filters Diamonds, then Kiwi's Leinwand with the settings below. Do not deselect
7. Apply the following cutout, then deselect
8. Add a symmetrical border of 12 (any colour), click your border with your magic wand, flood fill with the tile we made, then apply SBP with the clear glass setting. Deselect
9. Select your text tool, then use the following settings to add your corner font. Make sure that your tile is selected as your background fill, apply
10. Move your corner to the bottom left of your graphic, then once you're happy with its placement, go to selections>from vector object, then on your layer palette, right click the vector layer then convert to raster layer. Do not deselect
11. Apply SBP with the clear glass setting, then apply the following TWO drop shadows. Deselect
12. Duplicate your corner layer, then go to image>mirror, you now have a mirrored corner, and your frame is complete!
We're all done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial ;)
